About Volunteering at WWS
Thank you for offering to help us out this year!
We would love for you to join or teams and will mentor you to the best of our ability.
For Hands-On Volunteers, who work directly with the animals, from feeding to cleaning cages, we require a minimum commitment of a 1/2 day during our busy rehab season (April to Sept). You can schedule yourself for the same day every week (same team), or for any available slots during the week (1/2 day mornings and/or afternoons). You can work as many shifts as you like, but need to commit to at least one each week. There is extensive training involved in this field, and if you miss a few weeks, everything can change!
Kitchen Helpers are essential volunteers for just a few hours in the mornings. If you don't want to work directly with the animals, but around the animals, this is a great way to help us out! You will be preparing diets for a wide range of animals, and help to keep our kitchen area clean and organized.
We also need Volunteer Drivers, Construction Help, Habitat/Enclosure Enhancers and so much more depending on your talents and skills!
